About the Project
The marathon concept is based on the union of two elements: local seafood and wild plants. The Sakhalin Region is the only island region in Russia, so special attention is paid to authentic «island cuisine» here.
Regional cafes and restaurants develop a special menu: sets of three dishes at a fixed price. Guests are invited to explore the gastronomic riches of the land: a variety of fish, sea delicacies, local berries, and herbs.
The abundance of gifts from the sea is the region's main trump card. Every year, chefs create a new signature menu, turning local products into unique dishes that reflect the character of the island.
